Homestead -
The daily tariff for a Homestead room includes all gourmet meals, soft drinks, ice and bait for fishing and the use of all Island leisure equipment.

Camping -
Campers are required to purchase a camping permit, available from Island Management. This permit must be filled out and faxed/posted back before landing on the island. Camping costs $18.00 per person per night.

4WD Barge Transfer -
Homestead and camping guests that wish to bring their own 4WD onto the island are required to pay for the transportation of their vehicles onto the island. Guests must inform Island staff at the time of booking if vehicle transfers are required.

Discount 4WD Transfer Cost:

Want to take advantage of these great discounts? To qualify for a discount 4WD transfer you have to arrive and depart on either a Saturday or a Sunday. Please note the new discount prices only apply to new bookings made after 1st July 2005.

A fee of $33 per person (return) for passenger transfers on the barge is also applicable. Please note that it is not possible to 'walk on' to the barge to travel to the island, you must bring a 4WD vehicle to travel on the barge.

All guests wishing to bring their own 4WD must contact the Steep Point ranger in order to arrange access / camping at Steep Point. The ranger can be contacted on (08) 9948 3993.

Cancellation Policy -

All bookings require a 20% deposit within 7 days of booking. Please note that all deposits for Homestead and camping holidays are non refundable and non transferable. Full payment, unless otherwise organized, is required 21 days before arrival on the island.
