Dirk Hartog Island Walks

Walking With Whales

A World Heritage walk that will take your breath away!

The Dirk Hartog Island ‘Walking With Whales’ is an adventure walk along the stunning and rugged south west coast of the island.  It takes in breathtaking views of pristine white sandy beaches to 600 foot high cliffs alog the edge of the Australian continent.

As you take in the panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, you will have the opportunity to witness the magnificent Hump Back whales as they make their migration along the coast of Western Australia.  One of the highlights of this walk is witnessing the last sunset in Australia atop the cliffs at Herald Heights as the sun makes its way to the horizon – a truly spectacular experience.
